A revocable trust and an irrevocable trust are both ways to manage your money and property, but the big difference is how much control you keep. With a revocable trust, you can change or cancel it anytime while you’re alive, which makes it flexible. An irrevocable trust, on the other hand, usually can’t be changed once it’s set up, so you give up some control but may gain benefits like protection from creditors or tax savings.
